Grace ITC-IR1000 Description:

The Grace Innovator ITC-IR1000 Wifi Internet Radio supports WMA, AIFF, MP3, AAC, and real media streaming. It can access Sirius and Pandora and uses a Reiva portal to list down user’s favorite stations and even podcasts.

Its sleek and stylish design is definitely a plus. The Grace Innovator ITC-IR1000 is handy, and compresses a four-inch speaker and an LCD screen on its body. The controls in front include keys and knobs to control volume, and navigate or record internet radio stations. Its interface is user-friendly, making it easy to manipulate and navigate. The audio system has an output power that totals 4.5 watts with 1 speaker and full-range driver. It has auxiliary features such as a build-in clock, timer, built-in display LCD, and display illuminator. It also has an upgradeable firmware. This internet radio has only one connector, which is a headphone jack. It is WEP and WPA enabled, and requires wireless connection to stream music since. The Grace Innovator ITC-IR1000’s network functionality includes digital audio playback, and internet radio playback. It requires AC 120 volume (60 Hz) of power. This is one of the very first Grace wireless internet radios that was released in the American market. It has a reasonable price at less than $200.

Died After One Year

Pros and Cons

Pros Connected to internet radio stations for a while
Cons lacks reliability

Review

I received the Grace radio as a gift. It worked fairly well for about a year. Then the display became garbled and had to be constantly rebooted. Then the ability to tune new stations died. Now the whole thing is dead. Lousy value in the end because the radio became increasingly hard to use and then stopped working entirely after less than two years. Don't buy this thing. It is a waste.
